Contexture’s Administrative Staff
Meet the real masterminds behind
Contexture’s success.
Don’t be fooled by their mild-mannered facades. This trio of administrative professionals is the most cunning, diabolical and ruthless team of analytical thinkers that has ever graced the lairs of an office space. Fortunately for humankind, they put their razor-sharp intellects to noble uses, keeping the underpinnings of Contexture running smoothly, so that our clients’ needs are consistently met, on time, and always with a smile.
If you get a chance, stop by and say hi.
Jeri Grable
Office Manager
Jeri joined the Contexture team in 2006 after managing a large office for fourteen years. Growing up in Southern California, some of her favorite memories were made playing “office” with her sisters and friends. As an adult, she put her considerable management skills to work improving the environment of several offices, and saw her creativity develop into a vital part of growing companies. Jeri continues to use her organizational skills to manage a smoothly run environment for the entire Contexture family.
“I enjoy working with our clients and seeing their dreams and projects come to life. All the way from the inception of ideas to the “out-the-door” fulfillment, it is truly satisfying to know I have been a part of the process and look forward to seeing the next dream come alive.”
Julie Almgren
Human Resources
Beginning in 1998, Julie Almgren has the distinction of being the longest-running employee at Contexture (aside from Joe). She brings her considerable skills to the team from a diverse career working for Biola University, Hardin Honda, Management Development Associates and Wycliffe Associates. She has worn many hats at Contexture over the years, from production assistant and cataloguer to executive assistant to bookkeeping and accounting, but she currently handles all HR and payroll. She loves being a wife and mom to three beautiful kids, and she most enjoys the people at Contexture as well as working with organizations that truly are trying to make a difference in the world.
Shirley Alexander
Executive Assistant
Shirley was born in Glendale and graduated from UCLA with a degree in sociology. She began her career at the Pacific Telephone Company, then took time off to raise her four boys and loved being a soccer and baseball mom. After her kids got a bit older, a part time volunteer position at Saddleback Church turned into a full time job, followed by jobs at the Jesus Film Project, Pepsi, and The Capital Group before joining the Contexture team last year as executive assistant to the president.
Shirley has lived in South Africa, taught English to university students in China, re-built homes and businesses in Thailand following the tsunami, and helped found a church in Africa. Her favorite activity is teaching women’s Bible Study groups.
“I really enjoy the whole production process here at Contexture, it’s a great work environment, always busy and exciting. And I’m very impressed with the quality of work that the Contexture team produces – it blows me away!”
