Yup,

It’s actually pretty much done, save for a few small things.

We’re waiting on two things. First, we’re making sure AJ2 is fully compatible with WordPress 3.6. The next version of WordPress has some HUGE improvements that we want to ensure are fully utilized. Second, we’re in the middle of a complete rebuild of our own website. Let’s be honest, it’s badly in need of modernization (it was built before my time, even). We’re going to launch the new versions of both Adventure Journal and Page Security (which is getting renamed) at the same time as our new website.

Stay tuned, because we’re moving full steam ahead on this stuff.

Tony, There is no pro version. Page Security is a completely free, open source project that we built and maintain on our free time. In order to function with custom post/content types created by other plugins (like calendars or events) those plugins must follow WordPress's established rules and conventions. If they don't, they are essentially a separate piece of software from WordPress and Page Security will have no way to affect it.

I must confess I am slightly disappointed with your product (purchased the pro version). Whilst it protects posts and prevents unauthorised entry the post still appears in Recent Posts. It also does a similar things with calendar entries and Upcoming Events. Menus are great. Cannot the same logic be applied to posts and calendar items?

Is there a way for the home page to have widgets on the right sidebar? They are on the pages I created but not on the Posts page.

I love this plugin and as Paul I use it with the Theme My Login plugin. Unfortunately as Ed, I would like to find a similar solution to restrict access to uploaded media. On my site, http://portlandyc.com, I have a section reserved to members only, for which I use PSC. But if one of these page as an image/file inserted, anyone who knows or can guess the download URL can access the document without logging in.

I tried WordPress Download Monitor as suggested and applied it to a test image: http://portlandyc.com/wp-content/uploads/D5-snowbound-1948.jpg (trust me the Members Only box is checked), and as you can see yourself, you can access it.

I’d like to publish our Board minutes, roster, etc. on the site, but restrict access to members only (I obviously don’t want all our members email addresses floating on the Internet), how can I achieve this?

Hi,
I’m currently using your Adventure Journal theme for my web page, have been for ever so long. And I really like it, until just now.

I’ve been working on my pages, writing, adding and correcting them, when I noticed that a few were no longer available on my menu at the top of my page that used to be there. Odd, they were still all visible on the menu at the bottom of the page.

I went to the menu page on my dashboard and have been attempting to fix it. Making a custom menu doesn’t seem to have helped. And now the bottom page menu looks like my upper menu, empty save one page, the most recently worked on. But if I put my custom menu in as a widget, then all the pages show up in the widget.

Can you help solve my problem without me having to upgrade or change to a new theme?

Hi there, what a job Matt, I really love your plugin.
I’m using it as a filter to let my customers to see some parts of information as they paid for it and to stop others who does not has a loggin (didn’t paid)
Id’ like google and others to index the articles I’ve protected to get visitors. Of course they would be redirected to ‘acces denied page’ (the purpose is to say “we have the information, but you should become customer to get it)
I have all articles in a XML Sitemap
Problem, google does index only the ‘acces denied page’, not the protected stuff.
Is there a way to allow robots to vist and index restricted pages and articles ?
Not sure I’ve been clear on my question…

The custom header is not accessible as described. It gives four pre-set options but not way of installing my own.

Id appreciate some help.
