Shining Christ’s Light
Open Doors USA
Open Doors is an organization that is committed to helping Christians who are persecuted for their faith.
The Project: To provide a dramatic backdrop for the story of Open Doors and the people they serve.
A bit of “24″ and a bit of Christian missions… Contexture shot a concise and gripping true-to-life portrayal of the core mission of Open Doors. They needed to tell not only their story, but also the sometimes dangerous situations where they are called to assist. Principal HD photography took place in Southern California, and international footage was taken from previous on-location shoots Contexture had done around the world.
One Verse
The Seed Company
One Verse is a program of The Seed Company, an affiliate of Wycliffe Bible Translators, and is dedicated to accelerating Bible translation for the hundreds of millions of people who are still waiting to have the Bible in their language.
The Seed Company needed a compelling presentation of the problem and a motivating message that would inspire viewers to provide sponsorship and donations towards this worthy cause.
Contexture delivered with a moving and compelling visual story that presented the message in a way that would have broad appeal over many age groups and audiences. This video is currently being used in many Christian concerts and tours as a way to raise awareness and leave a lasting impact.
A Journey of Forgiveness, Documentary
Open Doors UK
An organization that is committed to helping Christians who are persecuted for their faith.
A documentary of discovery. Travel to Indonesia with Anna, a young Australian woman who meets the grieving mothers of several teenage girls, girls who were brutally murdered for one simple reason – they were Christians. Discover the mothers’ path to forgive those who have done this… and the challenge forgiveness presents to each of us.
The half-hour documentary features a special interview with Brother Andrew, the founder of Open Doors International, who is famously known for smuggling Bibles behind the “Iron Curtain” beginning in 1955.
The First Time They Experienced JESUS
The JESUS Film Project
The JESUS Film Project distributes the film JESUS, a two-hour docudrama about the life of Christ based on the Gospel of Luke. The film has been seen by several billions in every country of the world and translated into hundreds of languages.
We traveled to Ethiopia for the premier of the JESUS film with donors who paid to translate the film into a local language. Contexture’s production is an emotional-filled portrait of people hearing the story of Jesus in their own language. The donors have the opportunity to see the impact of their giving and are moved by the opportunity they have had to be involved. The production has raised several million dollars for the organization.
Keynote Youth Summer Project, Recruitment Video
Keynote Ministries
The music and entertainment ministry of Campus Crusade has entertained millions around the world with current and classic music performances.
We helped the artists tell their story… why they love music and why they travel the world with Keynote. And Contexture did it in their style. Hot music and straight-up truth.
Recruitment Video
Big Brothers Big Sisters
There were plenty of big sisters, but too few big brothers. We helped the organization find more “bigs.” We interviewed the “poster children” big brothers and little brothers.
We found many compelling stories and one that was very touching… we delivered it, showing the fun and fulfillment of being a big brother. And we found one youngster who understood the importance of being a big brother. At age 6 he WAS a big brother to his 4-year-old little brother. And he took that role seriously.

Safe and Sound, Commercial Series
Farmers & Merchants Bank
Contexture shot several interviews with Henry Walker, CEO of F&M Bank, to create a series of commercial spots, reinforcing the bank’s message of safety and security in a time of crumbling banks and sub-prime loan failures. No script. No prompter. Just honest, from-the-heart communication. The Result: More than $100 million in new deposits was received by F&M in the first week this series ran.
