For the very first time, Open Doors USA entered the world of broadcast journalism with their groundbreaking new TV series, “Undercover Christians.” Currently running on both Cornerstone and the NRB Network, Undercover Christians takes an in-depth look at the secret lives of Christian believers who live around the world in very difficult and dangerous circumstances.
Open Doors needed a compelling promotional website that would deliver up-to-date viewing information about the show, generate interest and present additional facts and details that would challenge the viewer to find out more about the show and inspire sponsorship. They needed a compassionate and informative website that would communicate the vision and mission of the school, set against the backdrop of so many children orphaned by AIDS. Contexture encapsulated their vision with the phrase “A Life Story You Can Change” and illustrated the life-changing opportunity that is made available to orphans through sponsorship and donations. The Lausanne Standards are a set of affirmations and agreements for giving and receiving money in mission.
We were tasked with creating a website that could help convey the message of the Lausanne Standards document, while making the goals easy to understand. The design had to appeal to a wide international audience, while remaining attractive and keeping mindful of users on slower connections. Community features were also developed, allowing participants to register their organizations in support of the standards.
